Being raised in an Italian family, communication was my first language, which meant that mealtimes were sacred – full tables, real conversation, laughter, and a deep sense of belonging. Those moments shaped my belief that the most meaningful connections happen when people feel relaxed, seen, and truly present.
Life didn’t follow a fairy-tale script. I experienced love, loss, divorce, and single motherhood early on – lessons that taught me resilience, growth, and the value of authenticity. As I rebuilt my life and career, those core values never changed; family, honesty, and meaningful relationships.
